Congressional Democrats, and a decent number of Republicans, are going need to take some Creative Writing courses to get through the 112 Congressional Session.

Fulfilling one of their most prominent campaign promises, House Republican leaders have unveiled a new rule to require that each bill filed in the House “cite its specific constitutional authority.”

Normally, I don’t like my government officials to bring “teh funneh”. That is not why I vote for a particular person. But this, I think may prove quite satifyingly humorous.

I know, “Same old, same old”, right? Not really, this is a bit different, in an “Internet Age” sort of way.

Type in a search of “ObamaCare” into Google — the world’s most popular search engine — and the results may surprise you. According to Politico’s Ben Smith, the Obama administration has purchased top billing to divert internet surfers away from antagonist websites to a new “sponsored link” — the Department of Health and Human Service’s (HHS) healthcare.gov.

This is very much like when Kobe Bryant had to buy his wife a huge diamond ring after that blonde had him arrested for not telling her he was going to poke her in the pooper.

Except that Obama’s doing this on a maxed-out and stolen credit card.

Gotta love petty city government.

In a nutshell, veteran comes home, gets a service dog to help with his disability. Neighbor complains the service dog bit him (possible, but highly unlikely, considering the amount of training service dogs get I just read that this was not a trained service dog, just a pet pitbull, so the possibility of a bite goes up), so city drops the hammer on the vet. People come to the rescue & raise enough money to help the guy out so he can keep his dog. The city, seemingly upset at the bad publicity they got for dropping the hammer when there was a question as to the neighbors complaints, doubles down.

I’m sure this is not the whole story, but the city of Fort Worth does not seem to be covering themselves with compassion. If I were that guy, I’d seriously look into trying to get out of Fort Worth.

Patton, perhaps America’s greatest fighting general, died twelve days after a mysterious vehicle accident outside Mannheim, Germany, December 9, 1945. He was the only person injured. Sitting in the rear of a chauffeured Cadillac limousine with an aide beside him, Patton suffered a broken neck when a two-and-a- half-ton US Army truck suddenly veered into the Cadillac’s path without signaling. Patton’s driver, who couldn’t avoid the crash, would later privately tell his son that the truck had been waiting for them on the side of the road as they’d started up from a railroad track stop. All on-scene reports and military investigative reports of the incident have vanished.

IMHO, tidal power is one of the few reliable sources of non-fossil fuel power. The sun doesn’t always shine, the winds don’t always blow, but the tide always rises & falls.
