I keep seeing the ‘draft Algore’ calls every presidential election cycle. They think he had his presidency stolen from him, and they pine for what they hope he’d be. I think Gore knows he truly lost, one reason he hasn’t tried running again.
The Dems don’t have anyone charismatic enough to prop up. Hillary is old and busted, comes with Bill’s baggage as well as her own. And Sanders scares too many of the party’s establishment backers with his actual socialism talk.
