Not quite beyond help just yet

So, I’ve decided to take Barak the Boomershoot rifle to the next level

I’m looking to try the Tube Gun route.

I’ve been attempting to find a good chassis, most notably from the MAK Enterprises folks, only to find that they’re gone from the interwebz.

Anyone out there got a note on where I can find a good tube gun style chassis?

    I’m a big fan of Gary Eliseo’s stocks: http://www.gotxring.com/

    I’ve got… umm… a *few* of them.

    Phil,
You can look back at mine if you go back to the “Firearm Odyssey” series I posted a few years ago. One of the chapters dealt with my tube gun build using a barrel I obtained in the Boomershoot dinner raffle. It has links to the chassis mfg’r.

McRee Precision are the go-to chassis for specialty pistols guru Ernie Bishop, and I believe they take Rem 700s. Don’t know if they qualify as a tube gun exactly.

You might see if a guy named Ron Czarnota is still building stuff. He was up in Perrysburg, New York, and built rail guns, as well as medium and light weight precision shooters.
Went to one of the shoots his group did in the dead of winter up there.
Lightweight rifles, 100 yards, 5th place group was 0.187″, winning group was 0.144″. Mostly shooting 6mm stuff. Spooky…
