Got to be a typo $32,500 sounds good.

And she’ll sell that, move to Texas & buy a McMansion. Insh’allah, she leaves the California political mindset at the CA/AZ border.

Yeah, here in Sunnyvale, mobiles on rented spaces sell for at least $100K more than comparable mobiles parked in more sensible locations.
Apparently there’s some sort of virtual equity in the parking space. Which, I guess, makes sense… the supply of spots in trailer parks is limited around here, so if you want to rent a space, you’ll have to pay the current occupant enough to make him go away.
I’m rooting for another year of the crazy, for my own selfish rea$on$.

Heh… I delivered newspapers in that very mobile home park circa 40 years ago!

In the mid-70’s, my folks sold our house on the east side of San Jose and we moved into a new mobile home park on the west side (at the end of N. First St, near Milpitas). It was all rural around us. Ten or fifteen years later, while I was in the Air Force, my folks sold their mobile home for more than double what they paid.

At one point my wife and I debated about buying our own mobile home in another state. At the time, I thought they appreciated everywhere, just like in the Bay Area. Luckily, we didn’t make that mistake.
