    Well, THAT would be cool. Then we have to see if FTL travel is still impossible, or just difficult.

    The “inventor” is still holding back too much of his marvel to call it a breakthrough, dispite the “vetting” by the European scientists. Those scientists took Rossi’s sooper-seecrit setup and ran it, twice, for five days. No exact data was revealed, but these wizards tease us with stats of efficiency regardig input and output, compared to standard energy sources.

    Personally, I think that this thing probably IS a breakthrough, but only as an improved kind of Thermal Battery. Thermal Batteries have been around since the 1950’s when they were used to provide the high-amperage current needed to run the neutron Flux Generator(s) on our Gen One thermonuclear bombs.
