At LMS Defense’s Home Defense course this past weekend, active shooters in school settings were discussed because several of the students attending were schoolteachers or, like my wife, worked in a public school. One teacher in attendance mentioned that his district was working on a plan to arm and train teachers, in conjunction with either LMS or LMS’ instructor, I can’t recall which.
So yes, even in California, some school districts have the right idea and are implementing it.
Well I hope they are following ol’ Shotgun Joe Biden’s advice and stocking up on double barrel scatterguns. That’s all you need to defend yourself, after all. Bad guys never bring friends.
