there goes the security thru obscurity aspect for this device.
Well, it’s a demonstration piece, and I think the way he did it was clever in demonstrating the capability without limiting creativity in how your individual custom build utilizes the design possibilities.
In the video, the fact that you have to place a specific book on a specific shelf in a specific orientation to open the thing is one of the more impressive aspects of the demonstration piece he built.
Seems to me that the custom locks and magnetics are such that you could make it pretty near impossible for a burglar to open (without an axe) even if he suspected a particular piece of furniture of hiding something.
