I was taking pics the rifles Wolf wrote about here that I recently picked up from riflesmith extraordinaire, Mike Palazzo.
As you all probably know, once you take a few pics of firearms, it doesn’t hurt to take more pics of other firearms, since you already have everything out and all……
I decided to try and get a co-witnessing shot on my XM177 clone

Not too bad for a photography yutz such as myself with a camera that was made in 05.
And since I’m being a proud papa and all, here is the Israeli K98 Mauser that I attempted and failed to turn into a Col. Jeff Cooper style scout rifle.
I childishly sold the rifle off when I couldn’t do with it what I wanted. I did make sure that it went to a good home though, and I recently found a trade Rivrdog was willing to make so that I could get it back. Yay!
I’m sure that Wolf will fiddle and improve the pics I’m sending him and get them up on the RNS frontpage in short order. They are oh so very nice.
Trading that fine 7.62 boltie left too big a hole in my collection, so I just filled it with a fine example of the Enfield 2A. I got an Ishy to replace the Izzy. I traded Snuffy for the Ishy. The Marlin 1894 was worth a bit more, but the Ishapore Enfields have jumped almost 2X in value recently, while the Marlins have gone up only 15% or so. Now, to figure out a scope mount for the Ishy.
