Both the scenery and the work. I’m not familiar at all with felling trees, but seeing what seems a dangerous job done with cheerful, determined competence is pretty nifty.

This can’t be the US. OSHA would be all over that( and the company) in a microsecond.
Well, the caption does say “Canadian style.” But then again, logging is kind’a different. Not exactly an office environment. It’s even less constrained in many ways than mining. Not sure WHAT OSHA would say (other than get involved to screw it up).
First thing oshit would say is where is that man’s safety belt/harness…
That is how trees use to be felled in the Pacific Northwest … mills at the time couldn’t handle logs with large stumps.
