Atkins update

For those who know Atkins, yes, I have corrected the error of my ways and am now eating my veggies too.

3 cups spinach salad, 6 tablespoons Ranch dressing, and one small grilled steak and one grilled pork chop, cut up, equals dinner:

    For the Atkins diet, a bathroom scale that also measures % body fat, % muscle, and % water is extremely useful. Ketostrips are also good mental aids (they are ‘behind the counter’ products in my state – have to ask the pharmacist but don’t need a prescription). The average single guy is liable to not eat enough carbohydrates to protect the kidneys – ketostrips tell you if you are going too far. Likewise, if you are eating too much carbs, ketostrips tell you that too.

    Another thing most people do not know is that beans aren’t quite a protein, but if you eat beans w/ rice, your body will digest & treat it as a protein. It’ll somewhat satisfy the random carbohydrate cravings
