This is one of the things…

I don’t get about people who want more taxes taken out of their pay.  If you feel the need for your money to do good works, go do good works with it!

“Tax me more!  I have dirty family money!  I need to help the poor, and the sick, and help re-build infrastructure!  And create more student aid!”

People like that should have their money taken away.  I mean, seriously, how stupid are they?  Do they honestly think that if their ‘excess’ money is taken in taxes today, that it will be spent on welfare, or infrastructure, or student aid?  Such welfare makes up such a small portion of the federal and state budgets.  Most likely it’ll be used to fund military adventurism, or in a political payout to further increase the crony capitalism we’ve been saddled with.

Why?  Simple, we have no real controls on how governments spend our money.  They get to piss it away however they feel, and they haven’t been responsible with taxpayer money in such a long time…

So for you ‘1%’s’ out there feeling guilty about having too much money, stop whining about wanting to be taxed more and abdicating your sense of personal responsibility to a government that has no clue as to how to be responsible, and give your money to causes and institutions, or persons you feel are wanting and need help.

But you do it.  YOU!  You make the hard decision, you do the research, you write the checks.  Trust me, you’ll feel a lot better for it.

Wait? You mean people should be taking care of their communities on their own instead of pretending to be moral and demanding others pay for their inaction?

    Damn, that sounds familiar!
