Logic Test

We’re in the second week of my Philosophy 106: Introduction to Logic class and we were introduced to a topic I’d never heard of until last night:

Alternative Truth-functional Operators

Despite what you might think, this is not going to be a section on the Obama Administration or their MSM minions.

Nor is it about the people who scored higher than 130 on this test Uncle found.

Anyone who scored that high apparently wants to live in a Haiti-like anarcho-paradise. The police, the courts, and the law, privatized? Really?

To them I ask, why are you wasting your time here when there is already a paradise of your choosing on the planet’s surface?

FYI: I scored a 70

  1. Drang says:

I scored 50. I kept saying “But what if the answer is abolish some of those?!” Not to mention “I don’t know enough about {subject} to express an opinion.”

  2. Kurt P says:

I scored 43, which I may increase to become a Libertarian extremist.

  3. Chris Byrne says:

I scored a 69, but mostly because of the way the questions are phrased as absolute operators.

Utterly abolished, completely privatized, totally etc…

Also, there are a lot of those questions that are interdependent. Unless you completely abolish the state (which I don’t support, because in anarchy inevitably and in all cases in known history; the strong will eventually rise and conquer the weak to create tyranny) you cannot privatize courts, the police, or the monetary system.

His test wasn’t really “how libertarian are you”, but “how anarchist are you”.
