In conjunction with the two-hour turkey, below, we did the best Thanksgiving dessert in our family’s history. That’s heresy, given my grandmother’s and mother’s pie-making abilities, but I hate pumpkin pie and love chocolate, so there you go.
Seriously, this was my first baking experience and it was simplicity itself. And you can’t stop eating it, it’s sooo good.
David, if you think that tastes good, try THIS molten chocolate lava cake.
Seriously, it’s 100x better and even easier to make.
And for just “snackin chocolate” try this scrumptuous treat. Guarenteed ANYBODY can make this.
HOMEMADE ROCKYROAD
Put in large pan over low heat and melt
12 oz. Bag of Butterscotch chips
12 oz. Bag of Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips
1/2 c. Peanut Butter
Turn off heat and add …….
1 c. salted peanuts
10 1/2 oz. Bag of Mini Marshmallows
Fold into chocolate mixture
Dump it all into a greased 9×13 buttered pan.
Chill in fridge, cut into squares and chow down.
Yum ! I love chocolate too ………. if I’m gonna mess up with calories, it’s gonna be with chocolate everytime.
Man, you can ship all your pumpkin pie to ME.
I guarantee it will be well loved and cared for until it is DEVOURED.
