The Cool. It Burns.

The pain is sweet though.

Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and John Paul Jones taking Them Crooked Vultures to Seattle

There’s been buzz aplenty this fall about Them Crooked Vultures, the super-group featuring Nirvana’s Dave Grohl, Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones. And now the band’s publicist has announced a couple of Northwest dates for the highly anticipated band.

Them Crooked Vultures are playing Nov. 21 at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre and Nov. 22 at Portland’s Roseland Theater, to be more specific. And the band’s debut album “New Fang” will be in stores on Nov. 17, according to day’s announcement. Listen to the title track (which is pretty sweet) over here.

Can’t go. The ticket prices begin in the “stupid” range and the lot containing my favorite parking spot for attending a Paramount show is now gone, thanks to the city of Seattle’s hatred of cars.

Also, I’m still under the curse of the bad “someone’s gonna spill beer/wine/liquor on Phil” juju.

The album’s been pre-ordered though.
