Fred had me at “…he has always stood firm on protecting the Second Amendment right to bear arms. He opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants and supports protecting our borders and enforcing current laws first.”

    Badideaguy,

I totally agree with you on Fred’s second amendment stance. It frightens me a bit that the other “have a chance” republican candidates are so soft on guns. When did the Grand ‘Ol Party ever so abandoned second amendment rights with its top tier candidates?

Rudy Giuliani actually had the gaul last week to tour down south claiming something to the effect that: “the only people with guns that need to fear my policies are criminals.”

Does anyone really buy that? Just a couple of weeks ago he was supporting New York City gun control policy. During his entire tenure as mayor, I can’t recall one time that he supported gun ownership.

And, Romney supported “assault weapons ban” in his own state.

McCain, I don’t know about, but he’s completely unelectable for his own reasons. Plusses: Honorable military service. Minuses: About everything else.

Help us Fred. You’re our only hope.
