He survived the experience luckily.

Biggest laugh this morning. They need to change the training sequence in future training by cuffing the perp after relieving him of the weapon.
It’s a pretty common saying that under stress you will revert to your training.
I racall hearing a case a few years ago where an officer was found dead at the scene with a pocket full of empty brass, as that’s how they were trained in order to keep the brass clean for reloading.
