More from the false prophets of the eco-socialist movement

In ten years all important animal life in the sea will be extinct. large areas of coastline will have to be evacuated because of the stench of dead fish.

I would take even money that England will not exist in the year 2000.

The battle to feed humanity is over. In the 1970’s, the world will undergo famines. Hundreds of millions of people are going to starve to death in spite of any crash programs embarked upon now. Population control is the only answer.

Each of these quotes are from one man – Paul Elrich, Stanford university biologist and advisor to Al Gore. They are all circa 1970.

I guess we know where Algore got his habit of making extraordinary (and idiotic) statements from.

Oh sure, why not one more from Elrich. Something more recent perhaps?

We already have too much economic growth in the United States. Economic grotwth in rich countries like ours is the disease, not the cure.

But of course, they’re not socialist idealogues. Nope. No siree. No way.
