Just thought you might like to hear it from me

Instead of someone else.

With all the hype of the upcoming Fred Dalton Thompson Presidential bid, the left (and probably some in the R-Party too) are going to be digging in the dirt for items to turn people away.

One of the items that will be coming out shortly will be that Fred received campaign contributions from Farhad Azima and members of his family.

Who’s that, you ask….

In Kansas City, the Iranian-born owner of Global International, Farhad Azima, expressed dismay that his airline might have been bamboozled into gunrunning by the charter firm in Belgium In Beirut, sources familiar with P.L.O. operations told TIME that other planeloads of weapons had been successfully flown to Central America from Libya and Algeria. All the cargoes were disguised as medical supplies.

The weapons were supposedly part of the Iran-Contra trades. Fred got $6000 throughout his time in the Senate. Thompson returned $3000 of it.

Azima also raised $9500 back in the mid-80’s for Thompson by hosting parties in his Smyrna, TN. home.

You have the info, go read about Azima and make your own call.

However, you’ll also want to know that Azima moved to New York and gave $129,000 in the 2000 election cycle to, you guessed it, all Democrats (Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer, Hillary!, Teddy Kennedy and Al Gore are all on the list).

In 2002, he gave to all Dems.

In 2004, he gave to all Dems.

In 2005, he split his losses but still gave twice as much to Hillary! as he did to the RNCC.

Just thought you’d want to know before the ball drops.

This is why I read rags like AmericaBlog.

I wish Fred Thompson well, but I am part of the movement that will withold ALL contributions to ALL GOP candidates until and unless some sense comes into their corporate heads about immigration.

Don’t bother with the wail that I’ll be part of getting the Hildebeeste elected. At this point in the destruction of the 230-year dream that WAS this United States of America, it matters little what flavor the destroyers are, there will simply have to be a new Republic, and perhaps another secession to accomplish it.
