A Pacific storm system that pounded the West Coast earlier this week will progress eastward on Wednesday, bringing snow to parts of the Rockies and rain to other areas in the country’s midsection.
Colorado and Wyoming, in particular, could get heavy snow, with forecasts calling for 6 to 12 inches in lower elevations and up to 2 feet in the mountains.
Mustaine-era Metallica fans will get the reference.

Like they changed “liberal” to “progressive” because others saw through their bullshit, they’ve changed “global warming” to “climate change” because of all the cold weather we’ve had recently. Of course, this is just being done by the liberal hoi polloi at the moment; I’ve no idea if the terminology shift has made it to the priestly class of the We’re All Gonna Die religion, or the Goreacle sitting in his majesty atop his coal-fired, jet-proppelled throne.
The crappy weather is supposed to hit VA sometime Sat, probably just in time to ruin my first range trip of the year.
