The Mom just called to let me know what was on the front page of the Olympia, WA newspaper.
Outdoors retailer Cabela’s will announce this morning that it intends to build a 185,000-square-foot showroom in Hawks Prairie, City Manager Greg Cuoio said.
The announcement that Cabela’s will submit a development application ends months of negotiations between the Nebraska-based company and the property owner, Hawks Prairie LLC, on a project that is projected to create more than 600 full-time-equivalent jobs, draw at least 1.8 million out-of-state tourists into Thurston County each year and funnel $5.4 million in tax revenue into state, county and city coffers annually.
Like I don’t already have enough places to spend my money unwisely.
Yay!
Can you get your paychecks direct deposited to Cabelas for store credit?
Maybe I actually should read that overpriced rag once in a while (.$50 a thin issue, whilst the TNT is $.35 for a lot more newspaper).
My house is the next exit down. The large building on the other side of I-5 in the picture is the WalMart Supercenter, which my family visits several times a week.
How will my paycheck survive?
Does this mean that we’re going to see your gangstas wearing RealTree dew rags?
