On Monday, local haters of big-box capitalism had themselves a little rally to denounce their favorite demon, Wal-Mart.
It was titled: “Change Wal-Mart, Change America” and the event spanned 35 cities in 19 states in 35 days. Seattle was the last stop on screamfest and while I’m not sure about the other cities, local politicos (some of whom just so happen to be up for election) were given the podium to try and out-denounce Wal-mart.
Seattle saw Senior Washington Senator, Patty “Osama builds day care centers” Murray, Junior Washing Senator Maria “My campaign manager is also a lobbyist” Cantwell and, of course, the moonbat favorite Jim “I support tapping phones unless Bush does it” McDermott.
You can go here for the excerpts of their rants. I give Murray a “6.1”, Cantwell a “7.2” and McDermott a “9.4” for sheer rantiness.
And you can go here, here, here and here to read their highly suspect propaganda that was most likely handed out at the rally.
Each and every one of the links listed above comes from the Northwest Progressive Institute’s blog. Don’t forget, they are the people who started up the Permenant Defense webpage to organize people to go out and shout down and otherwise harrass people gathering signatures for causes they don’t agree with.
