They thought the papermache float depicting Bush and Leiberman in a lip lock was hilarious. For a couple weeks, you couldn’t stop into the dKos and without seeing it.
But this is a “truly dispicable joke”.
They wanted to play political hardball, this is it. Free beers if I ever meet this guy.
I really love this new trend of political polarization we have going on in America. It really rocks that we live in a world were people on both sides of the political spectrum can call the other side humorless without laughing at the irony. It really helps with that “dehumanize the opposition” tactic. They call us humorless when we can’t laugh at a paper-mache float of Bush & Lieberman kissing. And we see their lack of humor when we see their anger at what makes us laugh, which makes us laugh even more.
And they say the guy was supposed to be an Osama look-alike or some generalized Arab, but I just saw another hairy, Che Guevera wanna-be, which is a popular look amongst pseudo-militant leftists.
