It’s Done

For now.

I still can’t believe that I hadn’t featured this here before, but in going through my pics file I didn’t see any image of it, so here we go.

It is just your standard Ruger 10/22 with the Butler Creek overmolded stock and .920 barrel. I bought the wrong bi-pod for Barak the Boomershoot rifle so the 9in Harris went on the 10/22.

I already had the Weaver base from the previous scope mounting and then I bought and mounted the Kwik-Site quick-detach rings around the Bushnell Sportsman 3-9×40 scope from Natchez.

The last scope was a piece of crap and the old rings held the scope so high that I could get a finger between the objective bell and the barrel so I wasn’t surprised when I couldn’t get 2MOA out of it, but I have high hopes for this set-up and will give it a go this Sunday.

The barrel is the 20in version and it works well with the modified bolt group and magazine I have for it. It gives the CB caps from CCI a little extra oomph for range but still keeps them nice and quiet.
