AK, you’ll have to take up reloading to really get your value from that rechambered piece– lots of issues with shooting .45 ACP in them (like pressures exceeding .455 Webley proof cartridges!). Slug it out and reload with appropriate projectiles in .45 ACP cases and you will have a sweet shooter. I am looking for one in .455 Webley, myself. Good luck!

Aren’t there a few modern revolvers chambered for the .45ACP? I remember seeing these guns when such could still be sold by mail in my youth. They were a hard sell to the skeptical public, and I think I remember them bringing only $18.95.

Buy a modern revolver if you must have a wheelgun chambered in the .45ACP.

Heya Kyle, reloading is the only real reason I don’t already own one of these conversions. I’d love to get one of these for competitions like the Bowling Pin ones I go to with Mr. Completely.

Brownells sells quick swap front sights with colored fiber optics too.

And RD, the trick thing about the Wembley over modern revolvers in speed competitions is the lever that opens the action. Right there on the side where my thumb can reach it easily making cylinder changes really quick. So quick that, with practice, it can be faster than a mag change in 1911.
