I found this link to a post by Mean Mr. Mustard the day after he posted it but I lost the damn thing so you finally get to see it today. It revolves around comments made by SCOTUS member, Justice Anthony Kennedy, about how the sentences of criminals in America are just too lengthy.
Yes, you read that right; He believes that criminals ARE SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME IN PRISON.
He, of course, doesn’t bother remembering that it was the thieves, murderers, rapists, etc fault that they ended up behind bars in the first place, he just wants their sentences cut down. Never mind that it is really difficult to mug a mother of three or carjack a guy coming home from work when you’re locked up in prison, Kennedy wants them let out sooner.
Are you wondering where he might have gotten this idea about the length of sentences (besides out of his ass)?
