I’ll be hitting the range this upcoming weekend, but I found two sets of individuals who wasted not, when it came to rangetime.
First up, we have Mr. Completely and his Better Half, trust me on this (snicker), KeeWee, taking the full monty of the Pin Shooting Match this weekend.
He took first and third (with two different pistols) and she took second in the optical sight class.
I’ve got to get back up there and get these two under control.
Next up, we have a gentleman calling himself Jerry the Geek, doing IPSC competition in Oregon. He didn’t list how well he did, but that is okay with me because he posted pics of “The Jungle Run”.

I haven’t gone on a jungle trail type event in years and I don’t know why, they are always the most fun. The last one I attended was with metalic plates and you went along a mile long trail with a 12 guage.
Speaking of firearms competition events, I have been conversing with Jerry the Geek and he linked me to this event: The Northwest Challenge
It is basically a two-day, themed IPSC event held about two hours north of my locale.
I have not shot IPSC in more years than I care to admit (I normally used to only shoot IDPA events), but I am seriously thinking of going to this.
After you all take a look around, let me know if anyone out there would be interested in joining me there.
Hey, AK, we missed you! I checked with the powers that be and you CAN shoot iron sights in rimfire optical, so you can shoot both classes with the same gun if you want. Mr. Completely…..
