Ravenwood’s Universe had a couple of firearms related links I saved in the past few weeks; The first one contains Washington DC official’s reactions to the D.C. Personal Protection Act of 2005 which would end the prohibition of firearms in the burg.

But even that one isn’t so bad when you hear what Illinios State Senator Kwame Raoul (D-Chicago) thinks about those of us who own firearms,
Sex offenders’ names are kept on record, why shouldn’t gun purchasers’ names be archived, as well?
Isn’t that sweet of him. OK, it’s not. Eat shit and die Senator.
The other post is bad news for shotgun hunters in New York State under their .50 caliber ban.
Under state Penal Law, when you add a rifled barrel to a shotgun it becomes a center fire rifle, and since virtually all shotgun barrels (smooth bore or rifled bore) are more than 50-caliber, they would be banned by this bill.
Pure drunk with power madness.
Speaking of .50 caliber bans, the House of Representatives voted 278-149 to not restrict the sales or exporting of .50cal rifles last week.
Of course, the hysteria driven Gun Fearing Wussies are all up in arms and keep repeating that jetliners all over the world are going to be shot from the skies by a projectile smaller than a nickel fired by a Mujajihadi super sniper.
It is amazing what they will believe so that they can keep complaining and campaigning.
Especially after the Brady Campaign has been caught lying.
Actually that isn’t all that surprising as they lie to their sycophants all the time. But this time, it’s perjury in a Federal Court.
From lying to hypocrisy, we now go to Joel Rosenberg who has three documented cases of mid-to-high level anti-gun proponents either owning illegal weapons or attempting murder.
