It’s a mystery

John at Some Poor Schmuck finds his local paper spreading envirowhacko propaganda as real news.

The Oregonian:

A study of dust taken from 70 U.S. houses, including 10 in Oregon, found traces of possibly unhealthy chemicals, according to environmental activists who funded the study.

The study from The Oregon Environmental Council

A study of common household dust in 70 homes from seven states including Oregon was released today, revealing a variety of hazardous chemicals that leach from everyday products. The Oregon dust samples had the highest levels of three chemical classes compared to the homes tested in the other states.

And here is the mystery; while both of these items are available for viewing online, neither of them links to the actual study. Hell, the OEC doesn’t mention any of the other organizations who helped fund the study, the lab that did the testing or even the names of scientists who did the work.

So I have two questions:

Is there even really a study if no one is willing to fess up to the results?

Why is a “journalist reporting on a story with so much missing information?

Oh, that left wing media!
