Sir Paul McCartney maybe an anti-gun, tree hugging hunter hater, but he’s also not afraid of pissing off the Islamofascist contingent.

Sir Paul McCartney has been threatened that he will be the target of suicide bombers unless he abandons plans to play his first concert in Israel.

Self-styled preacher of hate Omar Bakri claimed the former Beatle’s decision to take part in the Jewish state’s 60th anniversary celebrations had made him an enemy of all Muslims.

Sources said Sir Paul was shocked but refused to be intimidated.

Islamic law has been officially adopted in Britain, with sharia courts given powers to rule on Muslim civil cases.

The government has quietly sanctioned the powers for sharia judges to rule on cases ranging from divorce and financial disputes to those involving domestic violence.

Rulings issued by a network of five sharia courts are enforceable with the full power of the judicial system, through the county courts or High Court.

If you haven’t read this article yet, do so. The Sharia courts get to rule on Domestic Violence cases, with the most stern punishment being anger management classes.

Contrast that with the typical punishments handed out here in the US, where just the accusation of DV means the loss of your Second Amendment rights until you can prove yourself innocent.

Remember this the next time someone says that our court system is archaic and should be more like the systems in Europe. Those “someones” include at least one SCOTUS Justice.

Also included, free of charge, are nearly a dozen of the leftists best (worst) smears of Palin. Quite seriously, Oprah couldn’t have put a better skit for Obama on her show.

I do hope that hundreds of thousands of fence sitters watched or will watch this.

Proof of ABC’s Bias

Here’s the parts of the Palin interview that ABC left on the cutting-room floor.

They’re the parts, of course, that would hurt their carefully-crafted theme that Palin is a religiously-obsessed, warmongering whacko. Just one example:

Palin’s answers about a nuclear Iran were carefully edited to the point where she was even edited out in mid-sentence to make it seem that Palin favored unilateral action against that country:

PALIN: We have got to make sure that these weapons of mass destruction, that nuclear weapons are not given to those hands of Ahmadinejad, not that he would use them, but that he would allow terrorists to be able to use them. So we have got to put the pressure on Iran [and we have got to count on our allies to help us, diplomatic pressure.

GIBSON: But, Governor, we’ve threatened greater sanctions against Iran for a long time. It hasn’t done any good. It hasn’t stemmed their nuclear program.

PALIN: We need to pursue those and we need to implement those. We cannot back off. We cannot just concede that, oh, gee, maybe they’re going to have nuclear weapons, what can we do about it. No way, not Americans. We do not have to stand for that.]

Read The Whole Thing

The AoSHQ’s “Purple Avenger” says that Vanderluen hit it out of the park with this post about the corpse that is the Democratic Party, but he was wrong

Instead of telling us what sort of New Jerusalem it would have us build as our City on the Hill, the party requires that its members root about in the ghettos of the soul, to ponder the rightness or wrongness of the very babies of its opponents. Instead of waving the bright banners of America triumphant, the Party dons the rags and bones of defeatism and appeasement and moves about the country like a tarted-up Typhoid Mary, infecting all who kiss its chancred lips. As a party, it’s a poxed whore for whom no condom is thick enough. It’s a death trip.

Vanderluen hit the ball, sending it through the pitcher’s head and up into the stadium lights, whose instant shutdown caused a surge on the city’s power grid, which the computers saw as a massive overload, and according to their set safety programming, shut power off to the entire county the city resides in.

Just go read.

Poll Vaulting

In the post that included the link to the dKos Animal Farm and Petting Zoo, David made note that ‘ol Kos himself was going to spend some of his hardly earned blogging bucks to commission his own poll of the Presidential Race through pollsters Research 2000.

And here is a link, which goes to the Kos site, showing the results of said poll.

The results show Obama at 47%, McCain at 46%, with 2% going to both Barr and Nader.

It looks like The Koster (aka: Napoleon the Pig) will be having these done daily, so I think that on Saturdays I’ll link to their polls and see how they’re coping.

Which reminds me, would anyone out there be up to starting (or helping me start) a betting pool on what day before the election one of these dimwits goes off and actually starts threatening conservatives with violence if The Obamessiah loses?

It doesn’t have to be monetary, just bragging rights. But some software showing who has chosen what date so we can congratulate the weiner when it happens (because you know as well as I do that it will).

I got your Incorporation Case RIGHT HERE

Nordyke vs. King — the gun show case. Briefs filed yesterday. Supreme Court here we come, baby!

We’ve clearly got 5 for Incorporation of the 2A.

Here is my prediction:
95% chance we win [Nordyke in the 9th Circuit 3-judge panel], 85% chance it’s 3-0.
30% chance of an en-banc appeal grant [to the full 9th Circuit], If granted 80% chance we win.
60% chance Alameda appeals to SCOTUS.
If appealed 75% chance SCOTUS grants cert to give us a 5-4.

…Kennedy has said he finds this area of the law fascinating so we may have everything we need to bring the question all the way up without a circuit split. The good news about that is that it would make Incorporation very firm. The downside is that it would mean that it will take longer before we can start using Incorporation here in California.

However, either way, I expect we’re 90%+ that this case Incorporates the 2A against CA sooner or later.

Bracketed material mine. This case is all the more important because it looks like the Bradys are trying to stop the SF and Chicago cases before they get very far. This case’s almost unstoppable — it’s already in the Federal courts, and the panel of judges is favorable to 2A (despite being in the 9th Circuit). Have you DONATED yet?

…there is still plenty [Obama] could learn from the master — the political Houdini who is the only Democrat since Franklin D. Roosevelt to win two terms.

We do know that Clinton was happy to share his thoughts. He recently offered 10 minutes of “here’s what Obama needs to do” wisdom while standing in the popcorn line with someone he just met at a New York movie theater, according to one Democrat privy to the conversation.

My apologies for the absence

As I sat down yesterday for a bite to eat before blogging, I came upon the replay of the September 11th, 2001 attacks and couldn’t stop watching.

By the time the footage was complete, any blogging I would have done would have come out looking like this: #^@&!% ^&&#@)@ (@(&$^(&@*$

And that wouldn’t have fit the message I wanted to pass along, so I thought it better to abstain completely.

Hell, I didn’t even turn on the blogstation until late in the afternoon after sawing some logs.

Then I saw this and the froth started all over again.
