I can live with this result
Quite possibly because it pisses off both the hippies and the Christian Socialists at the same time.
You are 21% hippie.
You’re not in the lowest bracket of non-hippie-hood, but you’re close. I advise a field trip to a food co-op or a farmer’s market. Do a few interviews and take notes, because there will be a quiz next week to see if you’ve learned anything.
Re-reading it, I can see exactly where all those points came from. If I weren’t such a rational individual I’d like to drop a few points off my score by firebombing the co-op. As it is, I’ll just drive the diesel to work for the rest of the week instead of the Jeep.

For those who favor Right over Might
President Barack Obama would veto legislation suspending the EPA’s plans to write new climate change rules, a White House official said Friday.
Coal-state Democrats, led by Sen. Jay Rockefeller (W. Va.), Reps. Rick Boucher (Va.) and Nick Rahall (W. Va), are trying to limit the federal government’s ability to control greenhouse gases from power plants.
The coal-state proposals, which would block the Environmental Protection Agency’s authority for two years, would undercut what is widely seen as Obama’s alternative climate policy, now that Congress has punted on cap-and-trade legislation for the year. The Obama aide said the proposals won’t win the president’s signature if they managed to pass on Capitol Hill. Rockefeller’s bill is expected to reach the Senate floor at some point this year.
Filter out the words “coal-state” and Democrat” and you’ll get some common sense from this biased report.
Obama knows he’ll never get another chance to regulate the US economy from his office through Congress and is seeking to have the EPA flank Democracy. This needs to be stopped, and the only way to do this is cover his desk bills he can’t veto.
You won’t get that with our current Congress.

The Problem with Time Travel
It that it takes more than a lifetime to figure out how to do it.
And that would be about the only problem left now that the Grandfather Paradox has been solved
A new kind of time travel based on quantum teleportation gets around the paradoxes that have plagued other time machines, say physicists.
Of all the weird consequences of quantum mechanics, one of the strangest is the notion of postselection: the ability to trigger a computation that automatically disregards certain results.
Here’s an example: suppose you have a long, tortuous expression in which there are a frighteningly large number of variables. The question you want answering is which combination of variables makes the expression logically true. And the conventional way to solve it is by brute force: try every combination of variable until you find one that works. That’s hard.
Postselection, however, makes the solution easy to find. Simply allow the variables to take any value at random and then postselect on the condition that the answer must be true. This automatically disregards any wrong’uns that come up.
And from there it dissolves into terminology that only the Mad Rocket Scientist and Joe understand.

Fake Security Theater
USAG Eric Holder hadn’t read Arizona’s SB 1070 before attacking it.
The Nutroots decided that was good enough for them and didn’t read it before “acting” it
On Friday, at Netroots Nation, a group of immigration activists brought the reality of Arizona’s SB 1070 to Netroots attendees by staging a brilliant piece of street (well okay, hotel) theater. As attendees moved into the auditorium for the free lunch sponsored by Moveon.org., Latino activists wearing pseudo-ICE badges, costume HSA patches and otherwise garbed as “authority†stopped people before they entered the hall to grab their sandwiches and sodas and hear a panel on civil rights in the modern era.
The activists asked people who appeared to be white European in origin for their papers
Some people laughed, some were confused, some just walked by.
So the unknowing participants acted just like illegals coming to America for a “free lunch” do to our ICE officers. All was well and the only point proven was that the Nutroots don’t read before getting into costume.

About that Wikileaks release
Information is power, Wikileaks helps to make sure that such power is not so easily monopolized by government.
