I’ve been enjoying my old professor’s The Swerve, which inter alia really drives home how little there was of ancient literature that survived to be “discovered” later. George Cochran, whose 10,000 Year Explosion with Henry Harpending is utterly fascinating and (if you give it some thought) subversive as all hell, notes an indicator of what would have been a pretty important bit of lost ancient knowledge. What with, you know, the plagues and all.

This isn’t likely to end well for folks who oppose Obamacare

Reporters with the Society of American Business Editors and Writers received “training” on how to cover Obamacare’s rollout from a policy expert who works with President Obama’s former health information technology adviser.

The Commonwealth Fund’s Sara Collins claimed during the training that healthcare.gov’s chronic dysfunctionality does not signify “deeper issues” with the law.

But don’t you say that this is “collusion”. It’s not secret. Anymore.
