I’d be willing to bet that the liberal cartoonist who penned that sketch is sitting on a heap of money. How does he equate that with his opinion?
I’m sure the pile of money the liberal cartoonist is sitting on is small enough he counts himself in the “far left” category. I’m sure he thinks the Clintons and Obamas also are far left, even though according to said graph, the Clintons and the Obamas would be “center right”.
In the past couple of weeks at Democratic Underground (the cesspool in which I collect samples from to see what the lefties are thinking), someone posted the question “how much money makes one evil?” No one could put an actual figure to it. They tried to say it was whether someone actually earned their money or exploited others to get it, and what proportion of resources they used. But that rings hollow to me. In a leftist’s screed against the wealthy I read, the example of “using too much natural resources”, the example posted was the mansion owned by the man who invented Hot Pockets. It begs the question “what has the inventor of Hot Pockets done to exploit workers to deserve such scorn?”
I’d love to see that cartoonist do a comparison of the number of times the terms ‘far left’ and ‘far right’ appear in the media.
