They just do it automatically.
Every time the current Administration says one thing, and the media carries their water, they then believe that no one will notice that they are doing the exact opposite.
Case in point, they completely disavow that the D.R.E.A.M. Act and those who benefit from it are being used as advertising in Central American countries and lead to what they themselves are calling a “humanitarian crisis” along our southern border. The North American media sturms and drangs about it, mostly without mentioning the whole use of the D.R.E.A.M. Act and those who benefit from it part.
The Administration then demands that Central American news agencies stop advertising the D.R.E.A.M. Act and those who benefit from it in their media outlets.
Following their usual pattern, the Administration then holds a press conference “honoring” nearly a dozen youths who have benefited from the D.R.E.A.M. Act.
