Is it me?

Or is anyone else disappointed with “The World Wars” program on the History Channel?

I watched the second episode last night, spanning from 1920 to 1940 and there was nothing, nada, zip, zilch, zero about the African Campaigns or the League of Nations.

I know that the History Channel hasn’t actually been doing “history” now for a while, but I don’t know how an entire network could forget those two very important parts of the start of WWII.

I mean, damn, they have all week. Two hours per night for five days.

  1. Rivrdog says:

…and their staged scenes are frequently wrong, technically, especially as to weapons carried by troops. I saw a field howitzer, looking to be an old 75, referred to as an 88mm antitank gun. Carriage was wrong, barrel too short.

  2. First time they mentioned Hitler in years. So I had to DVR it and watch.
