On an entirely unrelated note, I’m midway through year 8 of my 10-year plan, started when I first encountered Survivalblog, and I’ve secured a retreat that should a) provide me and the wife with valid-throughout-California LTCs within a few weeks, and b) will give us a nice place somewhat out of the path of the Golden Horde in the event of a nuke/bio/chem strike on the Bay Area.
This is actually entirely of a piece with why I’ve been content to join the “Burn it to the ground” crowd of late, but I just got new eyes, so I’ll explain myself after I’ve adjusted to them.
On that note, holy shit you people who have been able to see since birth don’t appreciate what you’ve got. This is awesome. I think I would be content to just look at things with my own eyes for the rest of my life.
I doubt if that horde will be golden. Front BUIS needs to be dayglo to have adequate contrast.
