Allow Me To Retort, Quisling

…political protests should never target a public official’s home or family. It is naked intimidation and has no place in a democracy.

–Mark Krikorian, NRO’s The Corner

It plays a critical role in resisting a tyranny, though. And has one hell of an historical pedigree.

But those same political / public officials have no compunction about sending armed officers to other people’s homes, interrogating other people’s family or kids, eh.
They have no trouble using the power of the federal government to find out who people are talking to — without probable cause- they have no trouble using the IRS to harass people.

If you don’t want to worry about ‘intimidation’ there is an old saying that applies; “Don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing”.

Well now, that’s the thing about democracies, isn’t it? The peeps decide the standards of their society.

This effete snob from NRO must have come from some aristocracy somewhere. In this democratic Republic, we have used guns to invite aristocrats to leave these shores. Maybe he should remember that history had been known to repeat itself.
