For those who have never read the great hypothetical by Boston T Party, this is the kind of legislation created by the free state of Wyoming.

Fiction is becoming reality because of the tyranny that preys on the emotions of the weak and afraid–those whose knee-jerk reaction is “the government must do something to keep our kids safe.” They are the useful idiots for the progressive tyrants who wish to engineer their perfect utopia.

I would have never imagined that we would need state laws to protect the intentions of the 2nd Amendment, especially after Heller and McDonald. Yet here we are. I guess it is because we haven’t been effectively enforcing the 10th Amendment. Yet, the 2nd, the 10th and others are molested in every way possible by the sweet little commerce clause, progressivism’s little darling. How could that little phrase have been meant to override the Bill of Rights?

As Joe comments, a few states passing laws might not bring the major battle regarding gun control. Thankfully, we can still vote with our feet. But fiat law through executive order could start a literal war in this country. And Obama might be looking forward to that. After all, it was fear, chaos and uncertainty that led to FDR’s four term dictatorship that probably only ended because of his death in office. I imagine (like many others) that Obama is diligently working to find a way around the 22nd Amendment. After all, there is so much work unfinished and the people need him.

I’ve always been certain of Idaho for my Redoubt. Maybe I should consider Wyoming? There are jobs there, most of which (I have found) are for local government. But not all government is bad government.

And being that I am likely to be losing my job this spring, a move may be sooner than later.

I just sent an email to a pro-gun lobbyist I know in Idaho to see if we can’t get something like that on the Idaho agenda for this legislative session.

WM is going to let Seattle drown in it’s garbage? Interesting idea. without Dispatchers, that’s what will happen.

My wife and I have discussed a move to Idaho in the future. I will have to do a lot more research first. Fortunately my job appears to travel well. Quite a few openings nationwide.
