I heard the President’s words last week and said to myself “Oooh, that’s gonna hurt. Does he think nobody’s listening?”
Then I watched a full batch of MSNBC to see and hear what their cover for him was going to be. I heard a chorus of “that is not what he said”. So I went back and watched it again. Yes, that is exactly what he said.
Then I heard she of the Top Ramen hair, DNC Chairwoman and Florida’s 20th District Congresswoman, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz on a radio program trying to use the “that’s not what he said” defense.
I heard her say “that’s not what he said” multiple times, but when she attempted to explain it to the radio host, it sounded exactly like what I thought he said. I guess that when you say the indefensible, it is true that not even tested media mavens can explain it in a way that doesn’t make what you said say something different.
So, in honor of our nation’s current President taking a shit on the productive 52%, I give a song that should be a #1 hit on more than just YouTube

Pat, I’d like to solve the puzzle. Vote the bum out.
Who does Obama think built the road building companies that built the roads? Who laid the tracks for the railroads? Who dug the the gravel and coal mines? Who built the steel mills and the timber companies? Who strung the power and telephone lines? (hint: they were all private corporations that were able to do those great things mainly due to government NOT being involved*) Even today, when a road gets built/repaved, it’s not the .gov doing it…it’s a private company that won a contract. .Gov may be paying for it (after stealing the money from you and keeping a portion for itself), but it sure as hell isn’t actually BUILDING it.
I’m not aware of a single government owned and operated company in ANY of those industries. It’s a chicken/egg thing only in this particular case it can easily be traced back to a private enterprise ‘egg’ that laid the foundations of industry.
*with the possible exception of .gov more or less stealing and /or handing over vast tracts of land for the railroads under eminent domain.
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz may be the dumbest person to ever hold elected office – and that is saying a lot. So of course the DNC made her the Chair.
Bram – While Deb WasShul is without a doubt not the sharpest tool in the shed, I’m leaning more toward Hank Johnson, of Guam fame, as the current title-holder.
