If one could sue Papa John’s for productive work hours lost in the bathroom as a direct result of their pizza, or if the judge would toss the case on the grounds that a grown man should know better than to eat Papa John’s Pizza in the first place?

Had the same result years ago. And I’m objective enough to give anyone a second try. Had the same problem, so they have been put on the “No thanks” list.
That’s the “john” part of Papa John’s.
Sheer. Marketing. Brilliance!

Hmmm… Never had a problem with them myself, nor has my family. Maybe it’s just you three? Latent lactose intolerance and too much cheese, maybe?
Don’t care for them but have never had a problem either….
Am I allowed to say that it may be contamination from the brown fingered staff?
Jim: LMFAO!
Rolf: With as much dairy as I eat without trouble, it ain’t lactose intolerance.
Any plaintiff’s lawyer worth his salt would win the case for you by ordering some Papa John’s into the courtroom, and offering it to the defense table and jury. They could eat it and suffer, or lose the case. I know which I’d choose.
Same goes for Taco Bell, although I love the dog ads. Perhaps I should realize that they need such good ads, because they need to draw new folks to their stores again and again and again.
