I‘ve not posted much about one of my other passions, railroads. Model railroading, live steam, railfanning, it’s all good. In fact, I like it all as much as Bub loved his Walkman.*
On that note, Brigid has a couple of wonderful posts up: a railroad and station with spectacular, you-must-visit-in-this-lifetime scenery, and some gorgeous black-&-white steam photography. Check them out!
I’m diving into them, frankly, to keep my mind off the Center for Disease Control’s publication earlier this year of an official, albeit woefully inadequate, Zombie Survival Guide. What might they know is coming, hmm?
And by “woefully inadequate” I mean it’s missing an obvious item. Can you guess what that might be?
*And I don’t care what anyone says, Day of the Dead (1985) was my favorite of the Romero zombie movies. So there!
Was Day Of The Dead the one with cemetery zombie sex?
And… Wow, an Oleg poster with Betty, AKA Runt Of The Litter, a classic. ( I thought he’d erased those….)
You may be thinking of Peter Jackson’s “Brain Dead” on that one.
Muffy, I find the photo of the female holding a handgun in an aggressive manner insensative…more bree cheese?
