Interesting Surgery Video

This video shows a male patient, 26yo with a hepatitis C, dry gangrene of the foot and a wet gangrene of the thigh – the result of intravenous injections of Koaxil – new drug that is popular among heroin-addicted people because of the price (cheaper than opioids) and easy access (most of the Russian pharmacies sell it without a prescription)…The main concern of that poor guy was how painful procedure will be. Because of the necrotic process in the tissue during a gangrene all nerves are damaged so the person does not feel a thing.

What I find most interesting is that the tool that was used to cut the bones looks like a wire saw — you know, the kind you can roll up and store in your pocket.

Vigorous sawing action is necessary for these little guys to work, as you can clearly see in the video.

SFW, but not for the squeamish. Seriously.

You need to put a little more warning in that post.
I didn’t expect to see bare bones and a calf that was hanging around his ankle like an old sock.

I bet that stunk on rye. You have the rotting meat and then the smell of burning bone as they’re sawing it away…
