Thanks to a chance conversation I had with an acquaintence, which I then mentioned to The Wife, and a Science Channel program she watched one night when the insomnia kicked up, she has handed me the opportunity to make Firebase Blue water independent in short order.
I’ve locally sourced all the pieces needed to collect, store, and even transport close to 1000 gallons of water for TEOTWAWKI purposes. I have also found a source for food storage containers in both “Long Term” and “Tonnage Capacity” categories.
