LawDog has a critique of an element in the RFB I would not have noticed. Primer wipe explained here.
One of the reasons I had such hopes for this rifle is that the wife actually hefted one at SHOT and said she’d enjoy shooting it, which is the complete opposite of her feelings about any other rifle weighing more than about six pounds.
Quality control issue, but maybe not Kel-Tec’s fault.
The evidence: “but only managed to launch the gas regulator knob across the Colorado high desert.”
Sounds like some adjustments were made to the gas-port valve, which could have sped up the firing cycle (for bump-firing, maybe?).
Forensic analysis required before further condemnation of Kel-Tec is acceptable.
