Sure, we could end up with our own version of an “Official Secrets Act”, just like England’s (for all the good their Act has done them in the Assange case).
That would be a shame, because we have all the laws we need to discourage meglos like Assange, but, just like the Brits, we lack the fiber to put them to use.
We pretty much already do have an Official Secrets act, it’s called State Secrets Privilege.
Also, I’m not sure which laws we have that allow us to go after people like Assange?
