UPDATE: Well, it may have subtitles when released in the US, but (unfortunately IMO) they’ve got Steve Tyler singing a love song in English. Thank goodness for small favors, I suppose; having him sing it in Japanese would be worse. Still, there’s two new live-action trailers at the link. AWESOMENESS! Go there!
I’m looking forward to this one. I loved the cartoon version (Star Blazers?) when I was a kid. Hopefully they’ll record voiceovers for the U.S. market; I’d be annoyed if I had to read subtitles all the way through a cool SFX movie like this.

There is nothing in any of those trailers that I would rate below “Epic Awesome”. I’d watch it all in Japanese with NO subtitles if I had to!
I would prefer a version with subtitles, I’d prefer to hear the original emotion with the Japanese even if I don’t speak a word of it.
