A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand

I believe this government cannot endure, permanently half socialist and half free.
I do not expect the Union to be dissolved — I do not expect the house to fall — but I do expect it will cease to be divided.

It will become all one thing or all the other.

You’ll want to read the whole thing.

One Response to A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand

My view has become that we are more than half-socialist. If you look at hospitals, 75% of their funding comes from .gov. The “taxpayer” class funds public medicine and pays a premium on private medical care to help cover costs of the looters.

I’ve got a sense that with the aging baby boom generation (most but not all) and the halfwit generation coming up, the looters who operate on the notion that wealth is not dynamic and that wealth is not destroyed by forcibly removing it are overtaking those who believe in enterprise and entrepreneurship.

If you had a pie chart for distribution, and put the looters in yellow, it would look like pacman, about to swallow up the producers.

    Have a great day!
