Amanda is in the red coat with the blanket over her legs. It was very cold and wet that year.
This is the same Amanda who made my QOTD here and here.
Boomershoot is the perfect place for trying out those field clothing combinations you’ve been thinking about forever.
My combo is Carhartt bib overalls, non-insulated, but two sizes oversize, to wear both next-to-skin longies and quilted longies. A fleeze zip-up goes on, then a shell parka. Heavy boots, insulated are better. Billed cap, of course, because control of light into the eyes is very important.
Don’t ask me what I would do if Boomershoot turned out to be hot weater, which it has been, once or twice.
