My local Lowe’s had decorated and lighted Christmas trees for sale on September 30th. That’s not right. I refuse to put up Christmas decorations until the first week in December.
I dunno what Phil’s got lined up for today’s Soundboard, but in the holiday spirit I’ll pull a Lowe’s and give it to you early. Remember the Budweiser commercial with the cool Xmas lights and that Christmas-y hard rock track? Yeah, that was Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Wizards in Winter. And it ain’t no 30-second spot, either: as Mandingo says to Mya in another context [NOT safe for work], “It’s not gonna stop, oh, no….”

That’s a new video. The music track is from a concert-length version of the piece, but the original video was quite a bit shorter (not the 30-second version). So some video editing has been done, and there are skips and hitches (dono the technical terms for those) in the video track. Also, the audio track speed us it’s meter around the 2-minute mark. That’s not my computer, a connection blip never speeds up a video, only maes it jerky.
I’ll try to find my original version and post it.
Can’t spell AND can’t file. It’s escaped. Trans-Siberian Orchestra was my first venture into buying music online, and I went nutz and bought ALL their albums. I guess to be complete, I need their vids, though.
