The leftosphere is getting a bit weirded out over this poll showing that the 18-29 year old set “approves” of the job President Obama is doing, but almost equally “disapproves” of his handling of the issues and events.
While it would seem that they are simply confused, that would be the wrong answer to this conundrum.
The correct answer is that, especially in that age group, to disapprove of Obama one would have to be a racist. After all, that is what they label those of us who do disapprove.
But to disagree on an issue/event, well, that is just showing an independent streak.
How sad is it that they are so easily hobbled by their belief structure.
You hit that on the head Phil. I learned a long time ago it did no good to “tell” my daughters anything. Now I just ask them questions, and if the answer to question 1 suddenly doesn’t make sense when sitting next to answer 2, well shucks, look at that! We really need to think that through, don’t you think? They hate it, but it’s satisfying if six months later I hear them “get it right”. Long way to go though 😉
