The first thing I thought when I saw this commercial was “This must supposed to appeal to those who do not take the defense of themselves and their property seriously.”
My phone is always nearby, but it is absolutely not the only thing I own that is always within an arms reach.
Funny, that was my first thought, as well…
I get that feeling every time I see one of those alarm company commercials which has some bad guy invading a house and the terrified householder answering the phone from Alarm Central.
The inner me just screams, “pull your gun, lady! That’s a righteous shooting situation.”
If the NRA isn’t citing those commercials in their home defense courses, they’re missing a bet.
